WHO IS A PERSON/EXPERT ON YOUR FIELD THAT YOU ADMIRE?

I dedicate myself to the area of dance, so i'm going to talk about someone's work that I admire.

Ohad Naharin, is a dancer and contemporary choreographer from Israel. He participated dancing with Martha Graham and also he was dancer and future director of the Batsheva Dance Company since 1990 until 2018. He has created a lot of long pieces of dance with a messages and also he developed the "Gaga" lenguage, where the purpose it's having a somatic experience with your body beyond of your strenght and techniques.  

You have to experiment with your abilities without seeing you in a mirror, so you can feel the movement from inside and bring them out without worry about what the other says. You are testing yourself. ("Furo" below the paragraph)

And that's why I like his work too, because he focus on the dancers to improve their movemets with an efficient work and the practice with the technique it's really nice. You can even feel like you were a child just doing the things that the teacher says to you and working with what you're thinking about. ("Last work" below this paragraph)

A PHOTOGRAPH YOU LIKE

Usually I don't like too much that people take pictures of me, I prefer to take pictures of them.

This pictures was taking by a friend of mine. We went backpacking to the Lleulleu lake in the south of Chile since 2nd to 14th of March from this year. And mainly shows the lake and me. I was sitting in a bay, playing the ukelele, singing and watching the sunset. You can see the reflection of the threes with the sky and clouds on the lake too.

I like this picture because I was happy and the place were alone and very peaceful. Also was an adventure get to that place only with some food, a tent, and the desire of travel. I've never walked for so long until a car wanted to take us anywhere. Remembering is nostalgic but it's nice to know that I could go out before the quarantine start.

"TV SHOWS AND SERIES"

Tv shows and series are a world. I have a list of them but i haven't seen all the series in the list because there are many and always are coming out more of them! So, like i said, it's a world.

I don't have a favorite serie, but i was thinking in one that i really like to watch no matter what, "Friends". I like it because the episodes are not too long and change everytime even if they have a history. It always has something new to show and I laugh with the simple humor, i don't need nothing else.

I would like to see "Vis a Vis". My friends are always recomnending it. I think it seems good and cause me curiosity. I hope I could see it someday.

And finally, if I had to recommend a tv show or a serie, I would recommend "Dark". I think is an intense serie and it has a deep argument of time with the life and when you finish it you will ask yourself how are we existing. Also, another season is coming out soon. So i'm excited.

POST 3 >> MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

Considering that anything that is made for the human is a technology piece, I could choose a lot of things, that's why is diffcult.

Anyway, I think is my electric guitar. I got it when I had my first job being a child, so i wanted to give me a gift, because, why not?. I even thought that I could collect many of them, but i wasn't really thinking.

Well, it's a little bit obvious how I use it. I play it. I make music. I experiment whit sounds and I play songs that I like when I have time of course, it's part of my hobbies. Sometimes it happens that I have a lot of things to do when I'm studying but I can't focus for a long time while I'm in home and I go for I walk (inside my house) looking for things that I can do to distract myself. And there is it. My guitar looking at me. And it's highly probable that I play it when I don't want to do all the stuff that I have to do, as well. Maybe I use it three times a week, but i don't know, it depends of what I should do.

I like it because it's an object that keep you focus. You can listen music while are you playing. You can mix sounds and also you are constantly learning.

Finally, I think that life would be boring if i didn't have my guitar. Life would be flat, like I line. But i think that I would tried to look for something else to do. Probably the music that I listen to, it wouldn't exist or even I would question the ways to do music. It's weird thinking about it.

And that's all, enjoy what you can get or whatever you can have in your house.

POST 2 > WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS CAREER/STUDY PROGRAMME?

Hello everyone, today i'm going to tell about my dreams, ambitions, options and feelings during my existence after school.

I really don't remember what would have liked to do when i was a child, maybe a traditional career.
But I asked to my mom and she told me that in every moment of the day i was walking around with a scissor and a brush, so my dream job as I child was bocoming a hairdresser and also I had the habit of dancing in every part of my house. Always.

Now, when I had to choose a career to get into the university, i had other options. Between them was kinesiology, languages translation or environmental engineering. It sounds weird, isnt't it? Compared on what i'm doing today. But that were some options if i wouldn't have been selected to dance career. I wouldn't be here writing this.

And I made this decision because it always was my first option and i was selected between a lot of people auditioning so i said, "there's something in me, maybe, it's a sign". And here i am. But being in the university has been a quite difficult for emotional and money things. It's been exhausting. There's a lot of problems outside and inside the institution that affect the work of the art proffesionals, our teachers. So we can't, as students and future workers of art, stay there as if nothing was happening. They deserve a decent contract and regular payment and sometimes the university forget that. And that's when we decide to stop activities and classes to support them until we get an answer and a solution.
That's why being at the university has been difficult, because the art in Chile is difficult. And every single situation is different dependig the person and their contexts.

It's complicated to think in a job. It's an unclear future. But I would like to have a job where I can teach, being a teacher, but not in Santiago. I hope I could take all that I'm knowing to other cities or participate in some dance company. But as I said, it's unclear.

And that's all for now, i wouldn't know what to say or what I will do because, well, i don't know the future so i can change my mind in any moment.

POST 1 > MY AUTO BIOGRAPHY

Hello, my name is Vivian Moreno and this is a post where I'm going to tell you a few things about me.

I'm from Concepción and I live there until I got 18 years old, then i went to live in Santiago, just for my studies because there's no other country that have the dance career. Now I'm 20 and I'm studying in the Universidad de Chile, I think. There's a global virus wandering and it suppose that we can't go outside, so I'm far away and most of the people are studing or working online, but unfortunately not all of them. So I've discover things that I can do staying in my home or simply do it more often when I have nothing to do. My hobbies.

I like to do a lot of things but I´ll tell you some of them. I like to read, mostly terror gender, novels or philosophical stuff. Also another hobbie could be that I like to discover new vegan recipes to cook whenever I can but sometimes I just prefer to do one of this two things. Listening music, anything that sounds in the radio or random music in my phone. Or watch a tv show with my mother while my dad is sleeping for being tired or working. Sometimes I just lay in my bed looking at my ceiling until my brother comes to my bedroom just for buthering me.

So here you can read a few things about me and soon you will know a little bit more of my life, maybe.
